A metate, a Simple Grindstone Matthew 24:40-42



I have a friend from Mexico and while visiting yesterday, she noticed the piece above. I told her I bought it in Mexico. She said she used to do that process of grinding maise for making tortillas, on a stone such as this, called a metate, which is a simple grindstone. I discovered a scripture for this process which is below! 

Readiness at Any Hour 
Matthew 24:40-42 

40Two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left. 
42Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day on which your Lord will come.…
